Philosophy of Education:
The statement of the ancient Greeks, "Know Thyself," is an important requirement of any individual. In agreement with this wisdom, many of our courses teach self-awareness techniques. It is our desire that every person who comes here has the opportunity to gain knowledge of themselves and be informed of the techniques for applying this knowledge to their personal growth. Some tools and techniques work better for some people than others.
Therefore, the knowledge we provide is very eclectic, having been taken from many philosophies, religions, and psychologies. All spiritual growth implies a certain amount of change - not change based upon some dogma or creed, but true change - defined by the individual as a result of self-discovery. For this reason, we call ourselves a "Center for Applied Knowledge." Experience has taught us that self-knowledge alone is useless unless it is applied towards the creation of a more conscious, healthy, well-adjusted person. Therefore, on a basis of information from many sources, both old and new, we teach techniques in self-discovery and encourage self-transmutation.
We encourage a $10.00 per week donation to help defer the expense of the use of the facility, class materials, and instructor fees.

Metaphysics 101 - Ten-Week course - Introduction to metaphysical terms, theories, and practices. Areas of study that are introduced are the; Meditation & Journal Keeping; Cosmology of the macrocosm (the Solar System) and the microcosm (the personality of the human - the Three Lower Bodies - Physical, Emotional, & Mental) - As Above, So Below; Chakras; Rays & Flames (energy forces and how to use them); Re-embodiment; Consciousness Tools, i.e., Astrology, Numerology, Dreams; Masters of the Ancient Wisdom; Devas & Elementals; Alchemy; and Clearance (a healing tool). This serves as the student’s indoctrination to the basic principles of The Light of Christ Center.
Meditation - Four-Week course - Study and practice of the Science of Meditation - Eastern & Western. What it is and what it is not. This is a system for taking hold and concentrating to our latent mental power - the training of the Mind.
Metaphysics 201 - Ten-Week Course - The objective of this class is to learn the basics of Clearance Work (psychic healing tool) in order to effectively heal oneself and others. To learn and understand the basics of the Consciousness Chart in order to be aware of the human traits working in the personality and how to change them into divine qualities. And, be able to effectively utilize the tools of Clearance and the Consciousness Chart for the purpose of healing oneself and others and individual growth. This is a review of the Planes & Bodies, Rays & Flames and an in-depth study and practice of using the Consciousness Chart and Clearance.
Metaphysics 301 - Ten-Week Course - An organized, adventuresome exploration of the small universe we call the Self. The study and practice of several techniques, i.e., Transactional Analysis, Script Analysis, Eidetics, reading & reporting on numerous self-help books.
Metaphysics 401 - Ten-Week Course - Health, Healing, & Preventive Medicine - Delves deeply into health healing, and preventive medicine; extensive handouts and guest speakers; alternative medicine; current trends in holistic healing.
Abundance & Manifestation - Eight-Week Course - Teaches tools and techniques of White Magic to manifest what you need and want into your world. Promotes personal spiritual growth by teaching about universal laws of energy and energy management.
Astrology 101 - Eight-Week Course - Introduces the student to the basic principles of astrology. It includes much memorization of the zodiacal names (Signs, Planets, and Houses), symbols, and keywords. An overview of your own individual astrological birth chart is provided.
Astrology 201 - Eight-Week Course - Review of the basics of Astrology - Signs, Planets, Houses. Fine tunes the student in the creative interpretation of his/her own astrological chart, including natal aspects and transits.
Astrology 301 - Eight-Week Course - Continued, deeper study of astrology. This class provides a comparative analysis of charts, cycles, and transits. It also includes the practical application of astrology as a tool for transmutation and manifestation.
Tarot 101 - Eleven-Week Course – A basic introduction to the 22 Tarot Keys, or "High Arcana". Definition and discovery of archetypical symbols found in everyday life. (Traditional Coloring of Cards)
Tarot 201 - Eleven-Week Course - Seven steps to occult methodology, transmutation, and manifestation. It provides a history of Tarot and its uses as an initiatory path in ancient wisdom teachings. It also offers instruction into Daily Path meditation.
Tarot 301 - Eleven-Week Course - Meditative work with the Tarot Keys as spates for growth and discovery. Includes Gender, Numerology, and Hebrew and color symbology. Daily meditation and discussion.
Tarot 401 - Eleven-Week Course - Application of Tarot pathwork using keys and the Cube of Space. Intense meditation for development of personalization of your Tarot path. Weekly meditation and writing assignments.
Qabalah 101 - Eleven-Week Course - Introduction to Tarot Keys on the Tree of Life spheres as used by the Qabalah. Astrology and Numerology coordinated with Tarot archetypes. Pre-requisites - Tarot and Astrology series.
Qabalah 201 - Eleven-Week Course - 22 paths of Qabalah involving deep application of Tarot archetypes to the Tree of Life. Focus on dream symbols as Tarot/Qabalah Keys. Journal Keeping and daily meditation.
Qabalah 301 - Eleven-Week Course - Pathworking in 3rd and 4th dimensions. Project manifestation in the physical from meditations using symbology of Tarot and Qabalah.
Qabalah 401 - Eleven-Week Course - Pathworking in the 5th dimension. Area of specialization choice. Independent study and development of teaching/service materials.
Practical Magick – Seven-Week Course - Learning the basics of practical manifestation and developing and using the technique of a Magical Treasure Map.
Academic
& Metaphysical Look at the Bible – Eight-Week Course - To stimulate a
desire to further study all parts of the Bible and its different
interpretations and to apply those interpretations to everyday life. A multi-sensorial journey using visual and
sensorial elements to aid the learning process by connecting them with biblical
stories.
Western Inner Workings Workshop - Fifteen-Week Course - Includes Western Ritual, Magic, and Initiation. Discusses the movement toward Western approaches as opposed to the Eastern approach emphasized over the past several years. Especially suited to anyone born and/or raised in the Western hemisphere.
Mythology - Eight-Week Course - An introduction to Greek, Roman, and other ancient mythologies and their connections to modern religions and philosophies. The books and films of Joseph Campbell form the basis of this study.
Alice Bailey Studies - Ten-Week Course - Focuses on material channeled by the Master Djwal Khul through Alice Bailey. It addresses the "glamour" involving reading and discussion of material.
Workshops and Study Groups:
A Love offering will be
gratefully accepted for all Workshops and Study Groups.
Course in Miracles - Discussion Group - Meets each Sunday at 9:15 am to study the materials in the book by the same name. The group is open to all - at any time. May meet on other nights also.
Dream Analysis - Study Group - Study and discussion of individual dreams, their symbols and interpretation.
Solving Personal Problems - Money, Relationships, etc.
Conversations with God Study Group - Book 1, Book 2, Book 3, and Book 4 – Length of study depends upon the class size, discussion, & participation.
